Stroke Recovery Support
Kenya has a growing number of stroke survivors, especially adults between the ages of 30 and 50, who often face significant challenges in their recovery journey. At Attain Help Foundation, we are dedicated to helping these individuals by providing them with durable medical equipment (DME), such as wheelchairs and hospital beds, which are essential for their rehabilitation.
Our Initiatives Include
- Provision of DME: We collect and distribute wheelchairs, hospital beds, and other medical supplies to those in need.
- Rehabilitation Support: By working with local healthcare providers, we ensure that stroke survivors receive the care and tools necessary to regain mobility and improve their quality of life.
- Community Engagement: We collaborate with local communities to raise awareness about stroke prevention and the importance of timely medical intervention.
Health and Wellness Programs
We believe that recovery is a holistic process. That’s why we also focus on mental and physical wellness programs designed to improve the overall health of stroke survivors and other community members in Kenya.
Key Programs Include:
- Health Workshops: Offering education on stroke prevention, recovery, and the importance of mental wellness.
- Wellness Checks: Conducting routine health screenings and wellness checks to monitor the progress of stroke survivors and those with ongoing medical conditions.
Community Development
Community empowerment is at the heart of what we do. By fostering partnerships with local healthcare providers and volunteers, we build sustainable support networks that uplift entire communities. We provide resources, raise awareness, and work closely with local leaders to ensure long-term solutions for the challenges faced by stroke survivors and their families.
Our community-focused initiatives:
- Local Partnerships: Collaborating with local healthcare providers and organizations to ensure continuous support.
- Resource Distribution: Providing vital medical equipment and wellness support to families in need.
